Although I’m hardly scoring points for originality here, Brighton’s
home record of won twelve, drawn four and lost none makes them
a fairly obvious starting point.

They entertain Tranmere on Saturday, and their eight losses on the
road gives more than hope that the Seagulls will make it nine. With
a fully fit squad to choose from, Brighton at 1.44 are the home

banker.

Leyton Orient vs Oldham

The O’s are on a fine run of form at the moment, and their never-say-die
attitude has seen them surge up the table. They’re unbeaten in their
last five home games, and their Lancastrian opponents have failed
to win in their last five away matches, and their last eight in total.

It’s possible that this game could end in a draw, but Leyton are
by far the more likely winners and round out our weekend double.

York City vs Eastbourne Borough

Down into the Blue Square Premier we go, and York City are
on a great run at home, having won their last five games at
Bootham Crescent.

Eastbourne by contrast are scrapping for their lives at the bottom,

and have lost four of their last five away (although they did let us
down a fortnight ago, when getting a result against Fleetwood).

I’m not expecting lightning to strike twice here, and take the home
side to prevail at 1/2 (1.5).
