City out, Barca in for Sanchez?

The Chile international Alexis Sanchez is currently in Argentina preparing for the Copa America while a host of European clubs all battle for his signature.

However, Manchester City are no longer among those clubs, as they have apparently pulled themselves out of the race for the player touted to be the new Messi or Ronaldo.

Let's hear out the offers

Citizens’ manager Roberto Mancini implied that the player is not worth more than the £30m bid City are reported to have submitted and said:

“I talked to Sanchez, he said he was willing to come to City…

…But after our last offer, we are out of the race to acquire the Chilean player.”

When asked about his captain Carlos Tevez and his eventual departure Mancini insisted he believes the Argentinian will stay with the Eastland side.

The 27-year-old, who spearheaded the team to win the FA Cup and secure a top-four Premier League finish, is under contract with City until June 2014 and is a reported target of Inter Milan.

Meanwhile Udinese, who value their pocket-sized winger at £44million have confirmed that negotiations are ongoing with European champions Barcelona regarding his transfer.

The player himself is reported to have issued a rallying call to his club to accept a bid from Barcelona as he is not interested in playing in the Premier League.

The 22-year-old has given the Italians an ultimatum over his transfer as he only wants to move to the European champions.

Reports have suggested that Barcelona are attempting to agree a deal for Sanchez which would involve Jeffren joining Udinese.

Sanchez has been linked with other Manchester team as well, as he believes he is up to the task of showcasing his skills at a bigger club, be it in Italy or abroad, and has revealed that the Theatre of Dreams would be the perfect stage.

El Niño Maravilla or The wonder kid was voted as the best player of Italy for the last season, and also was part of an historic season of his club, finishing of this form a succesfull season.
